Pre-launch seller guide

Declare the item you will actually send

The seller creates an independent product record, discloses what is known and keeps the evidence connected through packing and handoff.

Illustrative only — seller workflows, categories, fees, protection, policies and providers are not live or approved yet.

Your role in the planned deal

  1. Declare actual values independently

Enter the item’s real characteristics instead of using one broad “same as buyer” confirmation for critical fields.

  2. Disclose defects and uncertainty

State known defects, required identifiers and anything unknown or unable to be verified. A declaration alone is not a verified claim. The seller would also affirm lawful ownership and authority to sell.

  3. Support the relevant fields

Provide the category-specific image, video, measurement, document, diagnostic or expert evidence required for each important claim.

  4. Review the comparison and lock

Resolve critical differences and approve the same Product Passport, price, evidence plan and policy versions as the buyer before any payment step.

  5. Record product, packing and handoff when required

A planned controlled flow may require identifiers, included items, protective packing, label, tamper-evident seal, package sides and approved courier handoff.

  6. Respond to a claim or authorized return

Provide relevant evidence within the stated deadline and, when a return is approved, compare the received return with its authorized return record.

Evidence reduces uncertainty; it does not eliminate it

No photo or video would prove everything about an item or guarantee payout or a dispute result. Any future seller protection would follow the published category, evidence, deadline, limit and exclusion rules for that deal.
